wifiprobe spike
Measures network quality (RTT, jitter, loss, throughput) room-to-room. Not signal
strength — no browser exposes that. See docs/architecture-notes.md.
1. Become the base station
Leave this device by the router, screen on. The walker's phone pairs to it.
2. Or join as walker with a code
If the camera won't scan the QR on the base station's screen, type its 6-character code here instead.
Base station
Pairing
Scan with the walker's phone, or enter this code manually:
Status
Probe echoes handled: 0
Control-channel (edge) samples logged: 0
Includes this device's own edge control-channel samples (FR-E5 seed). Not part of the walker's primary evidence file.
Walking
No tag set — samples are untagged.
Baseline
Stand beside the router, then tap this once. Stores the median RTT/jitter of the last 5 s and fires an 8 MB down + 4 MB up burst as the 100% reference.
Throughput burst
8 MB down + 4 MB up, tagged with the current location tag.
Try AR
Walk to the middle of each room and hold still: one tap records where you stood and runs the burst there. Every probe is stamped with your position, so results can draw the trail you walked.
Uses the camera and motion sensors for position tracking.
Room-by-room diagnostic from your walk so far. Probing keeps running while you look.

No baseline set
Schematic map — rooms are shown in the order you walked them. A true floorplan with a wall-aware coverage map arrives with AR room capture.
Each bar is one probe against your baseline RTT: green under 1.5×, amber under 2×, red beyond. Grey means no baseline yet. Room tags are marked beneath.
What this means
—
Self-test
Pure-function regression checks for the QR encoder, the instrument math (loss/jitter/RTT), the results classifier (FR-J2) and the export schema — the parts testable without the paired worker. Run against synthetic packet streams, no network calls.
AR diagnostics (live)
G-1 gate evidence from the last Try AR session on this page: engine load, time to tracking, pose rate, hit-test ratio, probe-to-pose age, and every host the page fetched from while AR ran. A readout, not an assertion.
No AR session on this page yet.
